Street Art Scavenger Hunt
Tuesday 2 October – 10am-12pm
Camperdown Memorial Rest Park
Ages 2+
$10 per child, free for siblings under 2.

We’ll meet in the park (Australia street side – at Albermarle St) at 10 where we’ll read a story then everyone will be given a map to find various street art images from around Newtown*. We’ll return to the park by 11:30 for some street art-inspired artwork. Please feel free to bring a picnic lunch.

*Please note that all children must be accompanied by parents/carers at all times. Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring road safety.

Mural Making Workshop
Thursday 4 October – 9:30-11:30am
Newtown Neighbourhood Centre
Ages 2+
$10 per child, free for siblings under 2.

We’ll be painting several large scale murals in different styles and techniques, with something for all ages.
Dress for mess! All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Feel free to bring snacks (but no nuts please).

Street Art Workshop: Stencils, Spray Paint, Stickers and String!

Monday 8 October – 10am-12pm

We’ll meet in the park (Australia street side – at Albermarle St) where we’ll be making washable chalk spray paint, experimenting with different stencil techniques, designing our own stickers and even having a go at “yarn bombing”! All children must be accompanied by a parent/carer. Feel free to bring snacks (but no nuts please).

Rainbow Scavenger Hunt
Thursday 11 October – 9:30-11:30am
Newtown Neighbourhood Centre
Ages 2+
$10 per child, free for siblings under 2.

We’ll meet in the Hall (upstairs, lift accessible) at Newtown Neighbourhood Centre where we’ll read a story then everyone will be given a map to find various rainbows around Newtown*. We’ll return to the Hall by 10:45 for some rainbow-inspired art and craft.
Feel free to bring snacks – but please no nuts!
